OBSERVATORY FOR ANALYSIS OF THE AMERICAN STATES FOREIGN POLICY

TARGETS 
 
The main duties of the Observatory are to analyze and to give opinions about important events in the Americas, the goals. These analyses are under the responsibility of the Observatory.  
 
The Observatory has it own meeting twice a month at least. It can organize meetings, is some special events take place. 
 
As indicated in it name, the Observatory analyzes events in the American continent. The Observatory analyzes can be sent to Universities, to private or public organisms, officials and non officials. 
 
 
ORGANIZATION 
 
The Director of the Observatory is responsible of any work written bye the Observatory, and he coordinates all the activities in the Observatory. 
 
Under the responsibility of the Director, permanents and non permanents PA’s work according to specific areas, as followed: 
 
 North and Central America (United States of America, Canada, Mexico, other Central American States) + Cuba 
 
 South America 1 (Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia) 
 
 South America 2 (Brazil, Argentina, Chile) 
 
 Other States 
 
 Regional organizations 
 
Each PA researcher is responsible for a geographical area and / or a regional organization. 
 
The Observatory analyzes are about political, diplomatic, economics, regional trade, as well as trade diplomacy. The Observatory also works on existing relations between American States and third States / third regional organizations.  
 
PA’s make their researches according to their university specialities or professional projects. All those works are made under the responsibility of the Director, and under his supervision.  
 
When possible, the Observatory can organize academic debates, or diner debates. It also organizes conferences, colloquiums, and participates as a moral person, or as individuals. 
 
 
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES 
 
 
The activities made by the Observatory are generally for Universities researchers, or for official Organisms / Institutions. The Observatory can make different works, for private and public companies, as well as for public and private Organisms. Those works can be: 
 
 Reports 
 Analyzes 
 Council activities 
 Press book 
 
 
ADHESION – FINANCE 
 
To be a member of the Observatory, each candidate must have a Master degree, major in American affairs, with strong analytical skills. Members are volunteers. 
 
Depending in the activities and in the woks ordered by Companies, Organisms and Institutions, members can receive from 25% to 75% of the amount paid by the orders. It depends of the type of work made by the Observatory. 
 
Each member has a 1 year contract, except if a special event allows them to stop the activities.  
 
Each member can give 30 € per year, as a contribution. Members, as well as organisms can give special contributions. 
 
The Observatory is also financed by the works that Organisms and Companies order. 
 
 
 
FARES FOR EXTERNAL ORGANISMS 
 
Fares are very different, depending on the kind of work you order.
